Every blog I visit seems to be filled with news concerning the recent fuel price increase. Yes I am angry too. I am just as frustrated but it also brought me to thinking of other "scams" this damn govt has tried to pull over the last 6-12 mths. Here are some that I can remember :
The PKFZ
I am still wondering how the govt can underestimate cost of a project by a whopping RM2.4billion!!! Initially, it was supposed to cost RM2.1B but it turned out to be RM4.5B!!! If an accountant in a private company made this mistake, he would be fired! But once again, this fucked-up govt allows this to happen without heads rolling! And Ong Tee Keat, our new Transport Minister has promised a full inquiry into this scam by appointing auditors to check. I will tell you the result now. LACK OF EVIDENCE, CAN"T PINPOINT ERROR, CASE CLOSED! The scumbags involved, Badawi and his 4th floor cohorts run happily to the bank!
The RM250 screwdrivers
Remember the MPPJ buying equipments like screwdrivers, manuals etc at 1000% of their original prices? Once again, no one is convicted and the scumbags are somewhere enjoying their ill-gotten gains
Leaks in Putrajaya, highway problems
Unfortunately we will not be entertained anymore by Toll Samy. His standard reply of "It's not my problem" will be sorely missed. All the contracts given out to fly-by-nite contractors have still to be accounted for and it is just embarassing to hear the leaking problems in Putrajaya. How much did Putrajaya cost again??? A Fooking RM11Billion!
Urggggggghhhhh....that's all for now!

The ageing process!
Recently, a close friend of mine actually e-mailed our close-knit of friends who have known each other for abt 20 years or so. That's when all hell broke loose and the LIVERPOOL fans in d group starting ridiculing the SCUM team that won the EPL. Naturally, the SCUM supporters retaliated. After a few mails, one of the guys actually had this to say, "Guys, you are all almost 40 now. Don't you think it is time to grow up and stop this childish nonsense!"
It hit me that yes, I am nearing the big 40! But does that stop me from having some fun(albeit in a childish kind of way)? No bloody way. Life is too short to worry about growing old etc. Live life like you want it! Am planning on climbing Mt kinabalu soon b4 my bones, joints and muscles turn 40! That's life!

What the FFFFFF!!!!
Guess what all you out there? I just came across the following statistic in the papers today!
Comparison of fuel prices in oil exporting countries
Country Price/Litre(RM)
UAE 1.09
Egypt 1.03
Bahrain 0.87
Qatar 0.68
Kuwait 0.68
Saudi Arabia 0.38
Iran 0.35
Nigeria 0.32
Turkmenistan 0.25
Venezuela 0.16
How can the cost of fuel in our country be so high since we are also an oil exporting country? Where have all the money gone? We are once again paying for some old fart's gran plans for "so called" developing the country(Dr M previously with all his biggest, tallest, longest projects and Bodohwi with his my rich, richer and richest policies for his family and cronies). Just makes your blood boil doesn't it?
Comments anyone?

RM2.70! What now???
Woke up in the morning realising that there will be a whole lot of chain effects from the dreaded fuel increase. Will my fav roti canai cost RM1 now? Will every damn thing increase in price? I totally understand the rationale behind this increase as no govt in the world will be able to sustain the subsidy, with the exception of Brunei and Saudi Arabia obviously! But maybe 40% is a little too much. Sigh.......
