Liverpool signed Robbie Keane today for 20.3m quid. Finally, we have signed someone of stature. This signing has got me a little excited as I think he wld complement Torres nicely. But then, what wld Rafa's formation be? Will he play two strikers upfront now or stick to his 4-5-1? Can Gerrard, Keane and Torres all play together? It would be exciting to find out once the season starts. Can't wait!
PS : To David Levy(Spurs chairman), who claims that Liverpool "robbed" Keane from Spurs, stop dreaming! You got 20m quid for him, so shut up and go and buy 10 new players like you do every year!(And still fail to finish in top 6)

Not to sure bout the price tag . . .
Nice to have someone who can at least score goals as compared to lanky fumbling Crouch or even hardworking Kuryt! Think it works well for Benitezs'system of rotation! Tapi like AD said a bit mahal dude!!
M.
I agree a bit mahal. But you get a proven goalscorer who does not need time to adapt to the English game. For me, it is a well taken gamble.
In another life, I'd give my right lung to be a world famous footballer with a multi-million dollar price tag. I mean, come on, wake up, hit the gym, head for training, go back home, game on the weekend, crack some shin bones (theirs), go to rave parties, get laid with supermodels...simple life, yeah? :P
Dude : Welcome to my blog! Yeah, everyone would love that life wouldn't they? And these footballers have the cheek to say that they are playing way too many games(60-70 in a year)! For the amount of money they are earning, they better be ready to play everyday!
LLT & the Dude: then again how many of us can actually make it to top flight football, a game played by billions!!
Rafa rescued him from permanently becoming a scum.
kerp, good one. 28yrs old n 20mil (i got the price right rite?)
just hope he does wonder in the games
=)
Karen,
cant say much or i may have to face the wrath from you guys here but all the best to ex-scum robbie. just hope he'll bag a hatrick everytime playing against his former team...hihi...
All reds fans are praying this will be the signing to help us win no 19!
I cant help but be reminded of Mark Viduka (yeah, like Viduka who, rite?) when I see Keane. No doubt he's a great goal scorer for Spurs, can he deliver the same for the Reds? Good luck to you and hopefully the money's well spent. Who next - Gareth Barry - Gerrard's best pal????
PP : Finally u hv found time to drop by my blog. TQ.
Reminds u of Viduka? How? What? When? Yeah, looks like they will be getting him soon. If that is done, then it is bye-bye to yr fav, Alonso!
