In my previous blog, I mentioned that the PM and DPM has approved purchase of Trengganu's infamous Mercedez Benzs. Sorry, my mistake. But wait! The story now is that they have not approved it for the Trengganu's State exco but these cars are only for the usage of foreign dignitaries and on official functions only! My questions now are :
1)How many foreign visitors does the Trengganu state govt get in a month?
2)Even if there are, what official functions do they attend other than state dinners etc? R u saying that these VIPs will have to use other vehicles when they go sight-seeing?
3)While waiting for foreign dignitaries, are these cars going to be left idle and rot in some garage somewhere?
4)3.43m has been wasted. Is anyone going to be accountable for it or is everyone going to get off scot-free as usual?
I have a better idea. Why don the govt give these cars to any Malaysian or organisation who has brought glory to the nation? Sportsmen/women like Nicol David or our national bowlers deserve them. Our Everest conquerors deserve them. Charitable organisations who can sell these cars and put the funds to good use deserve them. And please no one tell me our space monkey Sheikh deserves it. I will smack u in the mouth!

Space Monkey eh ... I'll join you and smack them in to mouth LLT :))
And Datuk Nicol ought be getting on of them spanky machines :)) ... worthy people only please! not goons.
Ani : Doubt we'll have chance to smack anyone tho. Nobody seems to think the monkey deserves anything except some peanuts!
WMSiew : Always will support her! She is a champ!
LLT Dude: bored at 2:50am! been religiously reading various online local newspapers.
1.07M spent on maintenence of crap V6s' and a few people nabbed! Like i said before, think corruption is endemic to every level of society and it's virtually impossible to hold anyone on the higher planes accountable. Sad state of affairs indeed!!
Perhaps we should be thankful in a minute way that the inner termoil/greed/power hungry/corrupt UNMO Dudes are actually making news/actions like these surface/been dealt with. finally. Maybe we're getting somewhere...then again maybe NOT!
M.
p/s: of course having double scotches and (to make this PG-18)... hmmm dreaming of naked chicks!
M : This investigation into the Perdana fiasco is once again to divert attention fm bigger misuse of funds. Donno if u've heard of the Monsoon Cup. It is a yachting competition which has the highest prize money in the world. Abt RM50m is uded to organise the competition. Organised by KJ and Badawi's close friend Patrick Lim.
The previous MB of Trengganu was said to be forced to sign contracts to award contracts to Patrick and KJ's cohort of cronies. So yes M, we're fucked either way. The small fish get caught but the big ones get away!
ahh...Patrick Lim(hopefully you're not related to him through some province in China or something!).. the dick from Equine who virtually got handed the Penang Turf Club for buliding condos. You're right.. we'er(i mean you ppl.) are fucked either way.
M.
M : I wish I was related to him. If I was, I wld probably be travelling to London just to have drinks w you!
The more I read about the Merc saga, the more I wanna puke. The Trengganu MB made such idiotic, mind boggling statements like,"It's cheaper in the long run to have the Merc." How can an imported car be cheaper in the long run than our national car? If the maintenance fees were so high, shouldn't he, "the smart MB" investigated the reasons behind the high cost rather than making such a "clever" move of purchasing Mercs?
Can you imagine what statements like that can do to the younger generations? Our kids would probably be so utterly confused. Isn't it scary to have morons like him running the country?
